Project led by a slovak saxophone player – Erik Rothenstein, in which he introduces klezmer, a musical tradition of Jews of Eastern Europe in combination with modern jazz, enriched with improvisation and own creative compositions and arrangements.
Heart of the project are compositions according to the book “The Fools of Chelm and Their History” by Isaac Bashevis Singer. The author gives us an opportunity to reflect on current political shenanigans as well as a type of lazy or deliberate semi-consciousness about irresponsible behavior or non-behavior.
